Winchester man charged with robbery at shop
A WINCHESTER man has been charged following an attempted robbery at Stanmore Stores on Friday, November 16.
Louis Mark Nugent, 21, of Lawn Road, Littleton, has been charged with seven offences; attempted robbery, driving a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving whilst disqualified, using a motor vehicle without third party insurance, possession of a knife, possession of a prohibited weapon and assault on police.
He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on the morning of Monday, November 19. He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on December 4.
