A COUNCILLOR has called for a meeting between a number of authorities to solve the rat problem in Valley Park.
Baddesley councillor Alan Dowden met residents along with staff from Test Valley Borough Council this week.
Now, he has called for a meeting with neighbouring authority Eastleigh Borough Council, the Woodland Trust and Test Valley in a bid to hear what actions can be taken to stop the issue.
Residents said they had been living with rats and heard how around 20 bait boxes had been placed around the area.
Councillors will now decide on a suitable date to hold a meeting in a bid to tackle the issue around the area.
