Police appeal for witness following burglary in Hampshire town
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in a Romsey last week.
The burglar stole £150 from an elderly woman’s handbag after forcing open the rear door of a home in Woodley Way, off Braishfield Road.
The victim, a 94-year-old woman, remained asleep throughout the incident which took place between 10pm on December 29 and 8am on December 30.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at Southampton CID on 101, or call the Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
