I AM not sure that the Daily Echo should print letters from “name and address supplied”.
If people are going to write such poisonous and inaccurate drivel, it seems fair that readers should know who they are (letters, December 10).
Perhaps there are people living in Holbury who object to me campaigning to stop port development at Dibden Bay.
Maybe there are some who think there will be lots of jobs involved if the development gets the go ahead and limited harm to the New Forest.
As a matter of record, I wasn’t even a councillor when Marchwood Industrial Estate was built.
Nor was I involved in the decision on Hythe Marina.
To set matters straight, I have never opposed all development, just wrong development.
I did chuckle at his suggestion that the application was rejected last time around by means of one lapwing being spotted by a lady from Sussex, sitting in a car.
Perhaps, it’s the pantomime season starting early.
