A CHARITY fashion show saw residents of all ages strut their stuff on the catwalk.

The event put on by Romsey clothing store M&Co managed to raise more than £1,000 to support those with breast cancer.

It saw children, men and women model the brand's latest fashions to a crowd of around 150 people at Crosfield Hall.

Volunteers were staff along with some friends, family and customers, but also included three of the volunteers' husbands too, which organisers said added to the fun of the night.

It was organised by myself Jess Lovelock, Store Manager of M&Co, and Assistant Manager Amanda Cooper.

They are one half of 'team stardust' which will be walking in the London Moonwalk event in May with colleague Sophie Haig and another friend.

To raise as much as possible on the night, they approached small local businesses getting them to hold stalls at the event, with 13 in total.

Local retailers also donated 60 prizes for the raffle while cakes during the interval were donated by both businesses and friends and family.

In total the event after costs raised £1,250 towards the Walk the Walk charity, which runs the Moonwalk event.

The charity funds research into breast cancer and support centres to help those affected.
