Temporary buzzard stop on the M27
THIS is the bird that closed a lane on a busy Hampshire motorway.
The distressed buzzard was rescued after being found on the M27 near Rownhams Services by police officers who quickly managed to safely take the bird to the hard shoulder.
The incident happened on Saturday at 2.13pm and the rescue operation took just over ten minutes. The buzzard is now in the hands of the RSPCA.
