THE Campaign to Protect Rural England’s Test Valley District Group will hold its annual meeting at Stockbridge Town Hall on March 27 at 6.30pm.

Environmental campaigner Douglas Paterson will talk on farming and the Hampshire Countryside.

A key figure in the fight against the 14 huge wind turbines planned for Bullington Cross, many will also know him as a farmer from the Dever Valley who loves and cares for the Hampshire landscape.

He is also a noted viola player with the Schubert Ensemble and hosts the Cranbourne Farm Concert Society at his lovely concert venue at his farm in Hampshire.

The public are invited to attend from 7.15pm for refreshments and a raffle, followed by the talk at 7.45pm.

The evening is free to attend. To reserve a place contact Moya Grove on mgrove@chilbolton. freeserve.co.uk.

Later this year, the group is privileged to be able to visit Ashley Manor open garden at Ashley near Up Somborne on May 30; and is planning a canal trip to Odiham in July.
