Bosses at the newly formed Romsey Cancer Support Centre charity are asking retailers to help with fundraising.

The new charity has taken over the running of Jane Scarth House from Wessex Cancer Trust after it pulled the plug on its services in the town last month.

Chairman of Romsey Cancer Support Centre Mike Gratton said: “We are getting a lot of support which is tremendous but we have static charity collection boxes available at our temporary premises at 70 The Hundred – Gorgeous Gowns and we’d be grateful if shops and other premises would participate and take some.

A raffle held during a fashion show at Bradbeers Department store raised £162 for Jane Scarth House.
