ORGANISERS of Lockerley and East Dean Carnival are putting the finishing touches to tomorrow afternoon’s parade.
Floats and walking exhibits are due to set off from Butt’s Green at 1.30pm and then head along Romsey Road in time for the village fete on the Glebe Field at 2pm.
This year’s carnival has the theme All Creatures Great and Small. Amongst the attractions at the fete, which runs to 5pm will be Romsey Old Cadets Carnival Showband, a display by Dorset-based Bawden Flight Gundogs, a bungee run and a dog agility course. Following the carnival there will be a barbecue at the Kings Arms in the village with live music from 7.30pm.
