Siren call for learner divers

A SCUBA diving centre has opened in Romsey.
Siren Diving is owned and run by Suze Perks and Dave Hart and it is based on the Abbey Park Industrial Estate at Luzborough.
Borough cabinet economic spokesman Peter Giddings officially opened the scuba training centre, at the Basepoint Centre, last week.
Suze said: “We love scuba diving and teaching others and we decided the time was right to set up on our own.
“Dave and I have both worked as instructors for other companies over the past few years, but wanted to run our own scuba diving centre to enable us to teach in the way that we feel gives students the best diving experience.”
Suze said Siren Diving offers variety of courses from those for novice to those aimed at divers interestd in advancing their skills.
Training sessions are held at swimming pools in the Winchester and Romsey areas.
Suze added: “I have met so many people who wanted to learn to dive but thought that it wasn’t possible or didn’t know where to start. I was one of them once! I want to make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.”
Besides training, Siren offers escorted scuba diving holidays, services and sells equipment.
