VOLUNTEERS are needed to help repair the ravages of recent storms at a Romsey nature reserve.

On Sunday (January 26), members of Tadburn Meadows Conservation Group will be carrying out tasks along the banks of the Tadburn Stream, hoping to make good some of the damage done by the recent high water levels.

This also involves coppicing some trees, to increase the light levels onto the stream. Wellies will be essential, but all other equipment will be provided, say the organisers.

Children under 16 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Volunteers are asked to meet at the end of Eight Acres at 10am.
