POLICE are hunting raiders who got away with watches worth £10,000 after breaking into a house at Chilworth.
Officers say the burglars forced open French doors to a ground floor bedroom at the property in Pinelands Road. They also used ladder to get onto a balcony at the house last Friday night (January 17).
Three wrist watches were stolen, including a black Breitling Navitimer worth £5,000, a black Chanel J12 with a diamond bezel valued at £3,000, and a stainless steel Oceanaut Seapro with a yellow face and black bezel.
Several hundred pounds in cashin a glass bottle was also stolen. Police say a 'tidy' search was made of the property.
Anyone with information about the burglary which happened between 10.30pm on Friday (January 17) and 2.10am on Saturday is asked to contact police staff investigator Laurel Russell at Eastleigh CID on 101.
