Burglars strike twice

TWO villages near Andover have been targeted by burglars.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the two thefts on Monday, 8 October.
The first burglary occurred at a house in Romsey Road, in Kings Somborne, near Stockbridge, between 1.20pm and 3.20pm.
A small amount of cash including Euros, jewellery and a green Royal Marine beret were stolen.
The second burglary took place between 3.10pm and 4.05pm at a house in Old Salisbury Road, in Abbotts Ann, where a digital camera, £150 in cash and a broken Blackberry mobile phone were stolen.
Pc Edward Tyrie, from Andover police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who can provide information about either of these burglaries.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in Kings Somborne or Abbots Ann on Monday, October 8?”
