Christmas cheer on the cards

CHRISTMAS could come early for a couple of creative school pupils thanks to a competition set up by a community minded law firm.

DBB solicitors, with offices in Andover and Stockbridge, wants to use its seasonal greetings to benefit the community by offering students the chance to design the firm’s 2012 Christmas card.

The competition is aimed at pupils in Year 6 and Year 10 in the Andover and Stockbridge area’s junior and senior schools.

The winning Year 6 designer will receive book tokens and the successful Year 10 designer will get book tokens and a guarantee of a two-week work experience placement at the solicitors’ offices.

The competition will run until 31 October, with judging taking place the following week. The winners will be selected by Test Valley Mayor Cllr Dorothy Baverstock. Andover MP Sir George Young will present the prizes.

Both winners will have their cards printed and used by DBB solicitors.
