FURRY pets were celebrated during a rabbit workshop in Andover.
To celebrate Rabbit Awareness Week, Pets at Home hosted the free educational workshops on Saturday and Sunday.
Staff manned the stall, teaching owners how to look after their pets responsibly.
It comes as research by the PDSA found that the wrong diet can be more harmful to a rabbit’s health than to cats, dogs and other pets.
The workshops gave children the chance to interact with rabbits and learn how to handle them while being supervised.
In-store advisors were also on hand to discuss the common myths associated with owning a rabbit and how following incorrect advice, such as over-feeding carrots or underfeeding hay, can have a damaging effect on their health.
