Wallets stolen from Andover changing rooms

FOOTBALLERS had their wallets stolen while playing a game in Andover.

Thieves struck at the changing rooms at Batchelors Barn Road playing fields and took a number of items from five victims.

It happened between 10am and 12.50pm on Sunday. (16)

The items taken include a black Ben Sherman wallet containing £40, a driving licence and a bank card, a black Gio Goi wallet with a yellow strap containing £30, a driving licence and a bank card, a silver Hawaii phone, a black and white Animal wallet, a Blackberry phone and some loose change.

Pc Raymond Cox said: “Whilst members of the team were playing football, the offender or offenders have entered the changing rooms and stolen a number of items.

“I would urge anyone with any information about this incident to come forward. Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Have you seen any similar items discarded in the area? Any information will be treated in strict confidence.”

So let me get this right in my head then... they didn't play football or respect those that did, but they steal from people that are doing nothing wrong other than play sport??? well in days gone bu we called them 'sons of unmarried parents...

Yeh there was a Ludgershall policeman in the early eighties dismissed from his job for stealing womens underwear from washing lines at night. We called them something that we cut up to make bacon from. Just Euphemistically Speaking!
