Cat hanged by skipping rope
12:00am Monday 10th September 2012 in Andover
A CAT was found hanged by a skipping rope in Genoa Court, Roman Way, Andover, on Sunday, 2 September, after going missing from its home on the housing estate.
The RSPCA was immediately called, but due to a communication error the cat’s owner only learnt of the death while knocking on the doors of other houses in Roman Way.
Four-year-old cat Maiya had gone missing, which was described as “out of character”, and her owner is said to be “devastated and very angry” and is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with any information regarding the cat’s death is encouraged to contact the Andover Advertiser on 01264 321205.
