Firm earns customer care award
12:00am Thursday 6th September 2012 in Andover
LOGISTICS company Andover Transport has been recognised for its excellence in delivering the highest standards of customer care for a second year running.
Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, gave the company the Platinum award for maintaining top levels of service in the Palletways Partnership League.
The distribution firm collects and delivers small consignments of palletised freight to customers in the SP and SO postcode areas.
Jason Horner, principal of Andover Transport, said: “I’m delighted to have secured Platinum status again as it shows our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the highest level of service and cost-efficiency.”
Mr Horner received his award from Simon Weston, the former Welsh Guardsman who suffered horrific burns on the ship the Sir Galahad during the Falklands War.
Palletways launched the nationwide Partnership League in 2007 to recognise the quality of commitment and co-operation in its network of over 100 members.
The assessment process is based on a number of categories, including performance and commitment to the local areas in which they are located. Platinum status represents the highest levels achievable by the member companies.
Martyn Young, Palletways UK managing director, said: “I’d like to thank Andover Transport for their commitment to our network.
“Particularly in today’s economic climate, it’s vital for our customers to know they can expect and will receive the highest possible levels of customer service.”
