TIDWORTH DEATHS: Post-mortems taking place

Post-mortem examinations are taking place today following the deaths of two young brothers, whose bodies were discovered next to their father's.

Police confirmed the process has begun to establish the cause of death of the children, aged 11 and three, after they were found at an address in Tidworth , Wiltshire, on Saturday.

The boys' father, Graham Anderson, had also died, police confirmed.

Detectives say while they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, it is being treated as suspicious.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Saunders, who is leading the investigation, said 36-year-old Mr Anderson's body had been identified by a close relative and urged people to help piece together his final moments.

He said: ''I am extremely keen for any sightings of Graham Anderson with the two children between Saturday August 25, and Saturday September 1.

''He was a regular bus user and I now need to trace his movements, and those of the boys during the week leading up to the discovery of their bodies at lunchtime (on Saturday).''

The alarm was raised by Mr Anderson's landlady, who was due to show prospective new tenants around his flat in Auchinleck House, Sidbury Heights.

She discovered the bodies of the father and his sons.

Wiltshire Police said they were unable to release the names of the children until they are formally identified by a relative, which is likely to be in the next 24 hours.

Det Chief Inspector Saunders said the case was an extremely tragic one, adding officers were not looking at any third-party involvement.
