TIDWORTH DEATHS: Father has been identified say police
8:30pm Sunday 2nd September 2012 in News
WILTSHIRE police have confirmed that a man whose body was found next to his two dead sons in Tidworth has been formally identified.
A major investigation is now under way following the deaths of Graham Gordon Anderson and two boys aged three and 11.
The boys' mother is thought to live in Andover.
Detectives say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident but it is being treated as suspicious.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Saunders said Mr Anderson had been identified by a close relative.
He said: "I am extremely keen for any sightings of Graham Anderson with the two children between Saturday August 25 and Saturday 1 September. He was a regular bus user and I now need to trace his movements, and those of the boys during the week leading up to the discovery of their bodies at lunchtime yesterday."
The alarm was raised on Saturday afternoon by Mr Anderson's landlady, who was due to show prospective new tenants around his flat in Auchinleck House.
Members of the community have left flowers, soft toys and messages of condolence outside the building which is in an area of mixed civilian/military accommodation.
