POLICE are hunting a man who indecently exposed himself in Andover.
The incident happened at about 12.20am on Sunday, 26 August in Newbury Road.
The 28-year-old female victim was walking under the Enham Arch when the suspect exposed himself. He then walked away in the direction of River Way and Pilgrims Way.
He is described as a white man, in his early 20s, of medium build, 5.4ft tall and wearing blue jeans and a horizontally striped jumper. The stripes were different colours.
Pc Ashley Whitlock, from Andover police station, said: “This incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning. People walking home from an evening out in Andover town centre may have seen someone matching the description of this man.
“This was an isolated incident but I would like to remind people that they can help to keep themselves safe by thinking about how they are going to get home at night. “Consider pre-booking a taxi, arranging a lift with someone you trust or using public transport rather than walking home alone.
“If you are the victim of a similar incident then please call 999 straight away so that the police can deal with it as quickly as possible.”
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Pc Whitlock at Andover police station on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
