Whenever someone does something good there are always a lot of whinging self centered people to complain that "it ruined their day"

I'm **** sure the "Charity money" will change a few peoples lives!

What shoddy journalism! Did you actually talk to anyone from Overton or did you just copy the story from the Daily Mail? I live in overton and this story is not correct. Overton villagers have not rallied against Carfest. In fact if you check the huge amounts of comments on the daily mail article you will find a lot of indignant overton residents who fully supported what was a fantastically organised and supported event. There appear to be only a very small minority of very vocal residents who never wanted the event in the first place. The local police had no complaints about the event, traffic was fine and you couldn't even hear the event from the village itself. I am so disappointed that the good people of overton have been misrepresented in this way!
