Police hunt Andover sex pests


POLICE are investigating three indecent assaults in the Andover area after an eight-year-old girl, and 11-year-old boy and a woman were revealed to be victims.

The eight-year old-girl was assaulted near to her home in Bradman Square, Andover on Wednesday 1 July.

Between 7.55 pm and 8.10 pm, the girl was outside the front of her house, playing with a friend when a man approached the pair, lifted the girl’s nightie and touched her buttock, before running away.

The girl was unhurt but very upset, and ran straight home.

The man is described as late teens early 20s, white, 5ft 6ins tall, slim with short black hair who was wearing a plain red t-shirt and long trousers PC Tyrone Tapper said, “This is a very worrying incident and we are appealing for information from anyone who can help.

“Were you in the vicinity of Cricketers Way at this time, or visiting the Tesco shop?

“If you think you may have seen this man please contact us.”

The day before this incident, on June 30, an 11-year-old boy was assaulted by a man while walking down the path which runs between Cricketers Way and the cornfields just after 9.15 pm.

The boy was making his way to his mother’s house, and saw a man in the play park in Roman Way. The man then began to walk the same way as the boy.

As the boy walked through the pathway, the man took hold of his arm and touched his genital area, on top of his trousers.

The boy was shocked but not injured.

Police say the individual involved is white, 16-20 years old with short dark fluffy hair and he had either spots or freckles on his face He was wearing a green or blue polo neck t-shirt which had a small black logo on the left hand chest area.

Police in Andover are also nvestigating an allegation of indecent assault against a local woman.

The woman had been socialising in the Chestnut Tree pub in Weyhill Road, Andover, on Sunday, 14 June.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was drinking in the Chestnut Tree that day as they may be able to assist with their enquiry.

They particularly want to identify and speak to three men who are believed to have been talking to the woman in the garden at the pub at around 5pm.

personally, i think that the police shouldnt catch this 'thing'..let the public catch this 'thing' and we'll take the law in our own hands. this piece of filth needs lynched and his throat slit

The police wouldnt do anything any way i know this for a fact- an andover man who still lives at king arthurs way and works on the taxi rank sexually assualted 2 15 year old girls and got 1 of them pregnant (hes in his late 50s) the police were informed, dna was taken and the child was proven to be his- and yet the case was droped because the man intimidated the girl into droping the charges and the police have done nothing - to busy with there anti drugs campaigns to catch or prosecute the peodos- due to the nature of this site i cannot submit the mans name and full address but if you wish to know his details (for the benefit of protecting your child) email me - also on a further note this man has a son who is known to the police to have mental issues hes aprox mid 20s and similar to description i have passed on his details maybe father like son?
