A CHRISTMAS Tree Throwing Competition is set to be held at Rosebourne Garden Centre, in Amesbury Road, Weyhill tomorrow (Saturday) from 10am-1pm.

Customers are being invited to bring along their Christmas trees to recycle them and help raise money for Andover Young 
Carers.

Andover Young Carers is an independent charity that provides support to children and young people who have a caring responsibility. 

The event is free to attend but the centre is asking for voluntary donations for the charity.

There are prizes on offer for the furthest thrown tree in two categories – trees under 5ft and trees over 5ft. 

The prizes will be a free Christmas tree for next Christmas and an afternoon tea for two voucher to spend in store.
