A STOCKBRIDGE man has been working hard over the festive period to get his very own hair salon up and running in time for the new year.

Misho Dimitrov opened the doors of his first business, MISHO Hair Studio, on 2 January located in High Street’s freshly renovated retail site, The Vine Yard.

The hairdresser with over 20 years’ experience initially worked in Stockbridge’s The Bodybarn as a principal stylist and manager for 12 years, before the Bulgarian-born stylist moved to Hair Art in Alresford before he realised his dream of opening his own studio.

Mr Dimitrov said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to finally launch my own hair salon in Stockbridge and look forward to welcoming clients old and new.

“It’s fantastic to be supported by such a helpful network of businesses having lived in the area for many years.”

The stylish studio will cater for men and women and is an exclusive salon for professional beauty product range AVEDA, which strives to be an ethical and environmentally responsible company.

Having worked with the products for nearly two decades, Mr Dimitrov hopes to carry its ethos into the Misho Hair Studio culture.

As previously reported in The Advertiser, The Vine Yard development opened in December, after the 18th century coaching inn was transformed in to a block of retail units including holiday apartments, a seamstress, estate agents and stores for bridal wear, pianos and wine.

The entrance to The Vine Yard is between Beccy’s Greengrocers and fashion retailer Stokes, with MISHO Hair Studio to be found on the left of the yard.
