AN ANDOVER pub has issued a gut-busting challenge this week.

The Magic Roundabout has invited residents to attempt a four stack burger challenge for free on Thursday.

The pub, on Charlton Road, is daring locals to take on its biggest ever burger, the Quadzilla, which features an awesome foursome collaboration of two beef burgers and two battered chicken fillets layered with smoked streaky bacon and cheddar cheese, topped with nacho cheese sauce and a crown of onion rings.

To mark the launch of the new spring summer menu, the Hungry Horse pub will be offering their first four guests up for the challenge the chance to try it for free and all they have to do is say ‘awesome foursome’ when ordering.

Samuel Johnson, general manager at Magic Roundabout, said: “We are famous for our big plate specials and generous portion sizes but the Quadzilla burger takes it to a whole other level and is definitely not for the faint-hearted.”

“We’re encouraging all our guests to take this opportunity to take on a giant food challenge – and let us pick up the tab for a change.

"But they’ll need to be quick; there are only four Quadzilla burgers up for grabs and it’s only available this Thursday.”

The Hungry Horse Spring Summer menu is available now, including a cow pie, a big plate special afterburner curry and a new Chick n Mix section.
