A CHARITY which aims to bring disabled and able bodied people together has been given £411 by a Chantry Centre based supermarket.
PHAB were presented with the cheque last week by Waitrose Andover’s community matters champion Annwen Walker.
The charity, which has had a group in Andover for more than 20 years, was given the money after it came first in the supermarket’s green token competition.
Group leader, Eileen Mills, says the charity will spend the money on maintaining their group bus as well as paying rental charges.
She said: “We would like to thank Waitrose for the kind support their customers have shown us.
We appreciate everything that all the charities have done to help.”
PHAB host meetings at Andover Guildhall every Thursday morning.
