FAMILY have paid tribute to a 22-year-old man who died in a two-vehicle collision in Great Shoddesden on Friday.

Christopher Guilford, of Wylye Road, Tidworth, was driving a Peugeot 206 which collided with a Ford Kuga on Perham Down Road.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 6pm but the father-of-two sadly died at the scene.

Mr Guilford's family have today paid tribute to him.

In a statement from Hampshire Police they said: “Son to Paul and Natalie, brother to Charlee, Sophie and Oliver, brother-in-law to Steve, fiancée to Holly and father to Leo and Archie, uncle to Cash, Logan and Jennifer, grandson to Jeff and Lisa, Stan and Eunice, stepson to Dave, nephew to Danielle, Matthew, Carol, Brenda, Paula and Kevin, great nephew, cousin, best friend and much loved buddy to many.

“Always had so much love to give to his family, friends and the outdoors, especially horses and his beloved Liverpool FC.

“Always remembered for this infectious smile.

“Rest in peace Chris. Fly high and proud for being the awesome man you are.

“You'll Never Walk Alone.”

The 32-year-old male driver of the Ford, who is from Wallingford, Oxfordshire, was uninjured.
