POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died following a collision on the A33 at Kings Worthy.

A 21-year-old man from Cheriton and a white Ford Kuga were involved in the collision at 5.28pm on Wednesday.

The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital but died from his injuries yesterday.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.

The driver, a 45-year-old man from Chandler’s Ford, was uninjured.
