A SAINTS legend will be available to sign copies of a recently published book which consists of fans’ reports of the club's most memorable moments in Andover tomorrow.
Matt Le Tissier will be in Waterstones on Thursday 20 October from 4.15pm.
The football star will be signing copies of Match of the New Millennium, the latest book from Hagiology Publishing.
Commissioned by Southampton FC, the book marks 15 years since the move to St Mary’s, containing reports and photos of the Saints’ 100 most memorable games in that period.
It was formally launched on Thursday 11 August this year – the anniversary of the first game at St Mary’s and close to the sixth anniversary of the passing of Markus Liebherr.
Matt Le Tissier joined Ted Bates OBE to open the stadium and played in the opening game against Espanyol – Match No 1 in the book.
Matt also appeared in Kelvin Davis’s testimonial when he went up against Rickie Lambert in a half-time penalty shoot-out – Match No 100.
