AN ANDOVER man who was caught nearly thee times over the drink drive limit has been banned from driving for almost two years.
Mark Andrew Radmore, of Claudius Close, was stopped by police on Foxcotte Lane on Thursday 28 April while driving his BMW.
When breathalysed he was found to have 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres in breath, nearly three times over the legal limit of 35 micogrammes of alchohol in 100 millitires of breath.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was disqualified from driving for 23 months.
This can be reduced by 25 weeks if he completes a course at the cost of up to £250.
Radmore must also take part in 14 day Drink Impaired Drivers Programme, complete 10 days community service and pay costs of £170.
