Former Dene Court resident jailed for breaching sex offender order (Image: -)
A FORMER Dean Court and River House resident has been sentenced to two months in prison after breaching the terms of a sex offender order.
Luke William Mark Miles admitted to breaching the terms of the order by failing to notify the relevant authorities of a change in address when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 22-year-old, of no fixed address, also admitted to assaulting a police officer and a community support officer during an incident earlier this month and to stealing two DVD's worth £30 from Morrison's in Basingstoke.
Miles was sentenced to a total of eight weeks in prison and ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge.
