Police are appealing for witnesses after a 77-year-old woman was bitten by a dog in Test Valley.
The incident occurred in the park near Canal Walk in Romsey at around 2.30pm on Thursday 28 January.
The woman was walking through the park and passed a man with a medium-sized dog, as they passed the dog bit her arm.
She told the owner what had happened but no further conversation took place.
The woman suffered two-puncture wounds and bruising.
The woman was bitten on her arm by what we believe to be a medium-sized Alsatian type dog with a light coloured face.
The owner is described as a white man in his 60s, with an average height and build, wearing dark clothing and a hat.
Police Constable Victoria Dennett said: “Were you in the park near Canal Walk on Thursday afternoon and did you see anything?
"Maybe you recognise the description of this owner or dog?
