POLICE are issuing CCTV of a two people they would like to speak to in connection with a distraction scam yesterday (August 27), where an 88-year-old woman has had £2,300 stolen.
The victim's pin number appears to have been noted during an ATM transaction at around midday. Shortly after as she shopped in Festival Place, Basingstoke, the victim was the subject of a distraction scam in which her purse, which contained cash and banks cards, was stolen.
The suspects are described as:
A white female, shoulder length blonde hair, her glasses were light or frameless, she was wearing a denim shirt top and carrying a black leather shoulder bag.
A white man, dark short hair, slight stubble, wearing a black tight V-neck top.
