A PLANE crash in north Hampshire that killed three members of Osama Bin Laden’s family has left aviation experts baffled.
A £7m state-of-the-art plane equipped with the latest technology ploughed into dozens of cars parked in a car auction site close to the runway at Blackbushe Airport.
It has been reported that Osama’s step-mother Rajaa Hashim, Sana bin Laden, his half-sister, and her husband Zuhair Hashim died after the crash on Friday, but the pilot has not yet been identified.
The plane, which was arriving from Milan, was attempting a landing in near-perfect conditions on a runway fitted with precision indicators which flash if a plane is coming in at the wrong angle.
One expert said this morning: “It doesn’t make sense to me, as an ordinary pilot, why something that advance and easy to fly would bury itself in the auction ground at the end of such a long runway.”
Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud, the Saudi ambassador to the UK, confirmed that three of the four people on board the plane were members of Osama bin Laden’s family.
The notorious terrorist founded the al-Qaeda group, which claimed responsibility for the September 11 attacks on the United States, and was killed in Pakistan on May 2, 2011.
