A DRUG dealer, who was caught with more than 16 grams of class A drugs in Andover, has been jailed for over two years.

19-year-old Johnny Harvey, from Mount Pleasant Road, Tottenham, was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment for two counts of possession of controlled class A drugs with intent to supply.

Harvey, who was appearing at Winchester Crown Court last Wednesday, was caught with 10 grams of crack cocaine and 6.6 grams of diamorphine in Verity Square, Andover on June 1.

He was arrested and remained in custody before his trial after breaking a previously suspended prison sentence.

For each count Harvey was given a 30 month prison sentence, both of which will run concurrently.
