THERE are severe delays between Andover and London today after a person was hit by a train.
In a statement, Network Rail said: "A person has been hit by a train between Raynes Park and Clapham Junction causing delays of up to 60 minutes to trains to and from London Waterloo via Wimbledon.
"Raynes Park station has reopened, however services from Wimbledon will not call at the station. There is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last but it is likely to continue until at least 14:00.
"Trains are not currently running between Hampton Court and London Waterloo.
"Crowd control is in place at some stations between Basingstoke and London Waterloo due to them being extremely busy.
"Due to the level of disruption, passengers are advised to use alternative routes / transport where possible."
