AN Andover teenager has been made the subject of a six-month detention and training order after admitting a catalogue of offences across the town.
Appearing in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court last week, the 17-year-old pleaded guilty to six offences including possessing a BB gun so as to cause another person to fear that violence would be used against them and damaging a chair belonging to Villagio to the value of £100.
He also admitted stealing three bikes and resisting a police officer.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has already been made the subject of a youth rehabilitation order in April for committing four previous offences, including theft and assault by beating.
At the hearing last week was additionally sentenced to a four-month detention and training order for breaching the youth rehabilitation order which will run alongside the six-month period.
The detention was imposed because of the seriousness and prolific nature of his offending and for firing a gun at females with children present in a crowded area.
