A BUILDING site worker was admitted to hospital following an on-site collision with a van yesterday.
The 36-year-old man was taken to Salisbury District Hospital by ambulance after a collision with a white Transit van at a Taylor Wimpey development on Pennings Road, Tidworth yesterday afternoon.
Wiltshire Police have confirmed that officers were called to the site shortly before 3pm.
The injured man was admitted to hospital with serious but not life-changing injuries.
Reports from the scene suggest that two police cars attended the incident along with two air ambulances.
The Great Western Air Ambulance landed on the building site itself while the Hamsphire and Isle of White helicopter landed on the Zouch Estate.
Officers cordened off the area of the building site where the incident took place and were on the scene for around an hour.
The matter is now being dealt with by Taylor Wimpey as it took place "at work."
