Brazen thief try to steal DIGGER - did you see anything?
A BRAZEN thief tried to steal a digger but failed to make off with his ill-gotten gains when disturbed by the arrival of a truck.
Between 3pm and 4pm on 14 May (Thursday) he attempted to steal a digger from an address in Westridge, Highclere.
The suspect arrived in a blue Landrover Defender (hard top) towing a trailer. The suspect, who was described as an 'older male', left his vehicle and then attempted to drive the digger out of the address.
The male left the scene after being disturbed by the arrival of a truck.
