Thieves stole power tools and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage in a raid on a farm near Andover earlier this week.

Between 5pm on Tuesday, 21 April and 7am on Wednesday, 22 April, barns and buildings of a farm off Monxton Road were broken into.

Offenders entered the premises by cutting through a large chain to fields on Cattle Lane before driving over the fields and cutting fences to another farm to gain access.

A number of storage units were broken into, with power tools being stolen and several vehicles damaged, some to gain access to the units and others for no apparent reason.

Thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused in what police believe was a mindless, malicious attack on the property.
