ALL FIVE of North West Hampshire’s Parliamentary candidates will go face-to-face in Weyhill this weekend as part of a pre-election hustings.

Labour’s Andrew Adams, Dan Hill from the Green Party, Conservative candidate Kit Malthouse, Alex Payton from the Liberal Democrats and UKIP’s Susan Perkins will all clash over a variety of topics when they meet at the Weyhill Fairground Village Hall on Sunday 26 April.

The event, which is hosted by Andover Churches Together, will take place from 3pm and is set to be chaired by former Charlton vicar, Jill Bentall.

Talking about the event, Mrs Bentall said: “I’m cautious and conscious of trying to of giving everyone a chance to have their say but I’m also really looking forward to it.

“Churches Together first ran a hustings in the 1970s and have run meetings like this at every election since.

“It’s always been popular because you can get a real idea about the candidates when you see them face-to-face.”

The event is free to attend and those members of the public who wish to ask questions should submit them before the meeting to: andoverlm@gmail.com.
