POLICE want your help finding a violent gang who attacked shop staff on Monday morning.
At about 5.45am four men assaulted staff at the One Stop store in Stanford Road, Basingstoke, in order to gain entry.
Fortunately, due to the quick-thinking efforts of the staff, the offenders didn’t manage to steal anything and then fled the scene.
Two members of staff suffered minor injuries.
The offenders were wearing dark-coloured clothing and had their faces covered. One of them was described as of a very large build.
Detective Constable Ben Lee said: “There may have been people in the area at that time, out walking their dogs or on their way to work.
“Did you see anything suspicious? Did you see four men running away from the store?”
