RESIDENTS and their pooches came out in force to a fete to create a paw-fect charity fundraiser.
The event took place at Burghclere Down Community Centre in aid of two local causes – the Andover 11th Scout and Cub group and the Countess of Brecknock Hospice.
Attractions for visitors on the day included a dog show, book stalls and a teddy tombola, with a bouncy castle, facepainting and a variety of games.
Firefighters from Andover Fire Station were also on hand to show off one of their engines to children.
One of the organisers, Sue Allison, said: “The event raised around £1,500, which will be split between the two causes."
