PUPILS at Test Valley School have congratulated last year’s Year 11 on their wonderful GCSE results.
They marked the celebration with a fun photo on the school field.
This year’s results included 83 per cent of all pupils achieving grade A*-C in maths, a new mathematics record for Test Valley School.
Head teacher Louisa Hiscock said: “Our mathematics department goes from strength to strength and we are very proud of the hard work by pupils and staff to achieve these results.
“Overall 67 per cent of our pupils achieved five or more A*-C grades, including English and mathematics, with 74 per cent also achieving A*-C in English.
“This year there was a considerable rise in our results overall and I am delighted to see the evidence coming through on how the teaching and support given to pupils at our school is making the difference.”
