ANDOVER Cricket Club was targeted in a burglary which saw over £100 worth of drink stolen from the pavilion on Bachelor’s Barn Road.
A side window was smashed to gain entry to the pavilion before the entrance to the bar was also broken as was the door to a store cupboard on the ground floor. The cupboard contained old stumps.
Bottles of soft drink and spirits as well as beer was stolen while the empty cash till was thrown on the floor.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “We are currently investigating a break in at Andover Cricket Club’s pavilion which took place between 7pm on Tuesday 12 August and 9am on Wednesday 13 August.
“So far no arrests have been made and we are encouraging anyone with any information to come forward and get in touch with us by calling 101.”
