Music evening raises £220
AN evening of local music in Overton was held at St Mary’s Hall raising money for two local causes.
Local folk band Mad Magdalen hosted the evening, with the amount raised totalling £220.
Overton Sheepfair Community Stage and Camps International will share the proceeds.
The Sheepfair sees Overton transformed with local musicians every four years while Camps International supports communities in developing nations.
Paul Crawte said: “The night saw a hearty raffle with the grand prize of a marrow being won by a couple visiting all the way from Brighton!”
