AN application to change the use of a unit in Kenyons Yard on Weyhill Road in Andover to a physiotherapy clinic was recommended for approval by Test Valley Borough Council.

The applicants previously ran their physiotherapy business in a gym on Walworth Industrial Estate but have been forced to search for new premises when the gym relocated.

The relocated unit would employ three members of staff.

The case officer for the application recommended it for permission subject to 12 parking spaces being provided and that the unit is used only for physiotherapy.

Despite being approximately 20 metres away from the nearest neighbouring residential property, the proposed use is not considered to be noise generating.
