ANDOVER Church of England Primary School’s PTA-organised fete at the weekend raised £2,000.
The rain clouds held off until half an hour before the event finished by which time a great number of staff and children were already soaked – thanks to being in the stocks.
Visitors were treated to displays of country dancing as well as other dancing, football and martial arts.
There were also a number of stalls, including tombolas, a barbecue and a grand raffle.
Jeannie Lovell, who ran the teddy tombola stall, said: “It was a very successful day and great fun was had by all.
