A GOLD pocket watch worth £3,500 was stolen from an Andover jeweller.
It was taken at about 12pm on Tuesday, 1 July from David Mellor Jewellers in Waverley Walk.
Police want to trace a white man aged in his mid-20s with blond, shaven hair. He was wearing a blue shirt and khaki-coloured shorts.
PC Amanda Wallis said: “Did you see this man in the area of David Mellor Jewellers? The theft happened at about 12.20pm and it’s believed the man ran off towards Waterloo Court. I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered a gold pocket watch for sale.”
